Floral Impression
This week I am choosing to focus on Floral Impressions 12×12 designer series paper. This is an online exclusives, so the only place you find it is in the SU store. this paper has been out for awhile, but it’s been my go to paper. A tip for this card is, when you don’t necessary want to add the bulk of layers, try running the edges of the cardstock along the ink pad. It gives the extra look and makes it stand out.

The finished card uses strips of designer series paper, which helps stretch the paper. I used the same sheet, just used both sides. I believe the strips are 1 1/4” wide by 5” long. Strawberry Slush the card stock and ink used. Don’t sleep on the holographic resin dots, they were part of the Jan. 25 online exclusive release.

Supplies: Charming Day stamp set, Strawberry Slush & Basic White card stock, Floral Impressions 12×12 designer series paper, Strawberry Slush ink pad, Holographic Resin Dots and pop dots.

A Card A Day In May – Day 22
This was a fun card to make, you have to try this new bundle, washi tape and dies! The theme is “Weddings” and here is what I came up with.

You can get the washi tape, die and stamp set as part of a bundle, it’s called “Extraordinary Flora Bundle” item #165245. I used the tape, cut out the flowers and used the words from the stamp set. I can’t wait to play with this more!! The base of the card is Basic White card stock, then adding a layer of Basic White card stock that was embossed with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder. I taped the washi tape to Basic White card stock and used the die to cut out all the flowers and leaves. I stamped the saying in Black Memento ink and used Nested Essential Dies and cut it out. I added white ribbon, which is an online exclusive along with the Strawberry Slush gems.
Supplies: Extraordinary Flora Bundle, Basic White card stock, Black Memento ink, Nested Essential Dies, Eyelet 3D embossing folder, Big Shot, White Woven Ribbon, Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems & Pop Dots.

A Card A Day In May – Day 21
Life get’s in the way, but I am determined to be all caught up by tomorrow! The theme for Day 21 is “For The Man” I don’t have any stamps that would work for this, so I looked at my designer series paper and this is what I came up with.

I loved this paper from Thoughtful Journey, it is still available online, item #163303. The base of the card is Misty Moonlight followed by another layer of Misty Moonlight, there is just something about doing the same color as a layer, I did use pop dots to separate the layers. I added the strip of designer series paper, it’s 3 inch wide by 5 1/2” long, that way you can get two cards from one 6×6 paper. Back to using Stylish Shaped dies, the color is Fresh Freesia and Basic White. The saying is from The Right Words stamp set, its in the annual catalog, item #165316. Finished off the card with Two-Tone Sparkling Gems, just a little sparkle, but not too much for the man.
Supplies: The RIght Words stamp set, Misty Moonlight, Fresh Freesia & Basic White card stock, Thoughtful Journey 6×6 designer series paper, Misty Moonlight ink pad, Stylish Shape dies & Big Shot, Two-Tone Sparkle Gems and Pop Dots.
