Perfectly Pomegranate!
Welcome Back to another card using Fruit Salad designer series paper & Simply Said stamp set. Like I said, it’s my most grabbed stamp set from the annual catalog!!!

Basic layout, starting with a normal card base ( 5.50”x4.25”) in Petal Pink card stock, next layer is Real Read card stock (5”x3.75”) the Fruit Salad designer series paper is 4.75”x3.50”. The Real Red strip is 1”x3.75”. The sentiment is stamped in Real Red ink onto a piece of 1.25”x1.75”, Real Red card stock is 1.50”x2” and Petal Pink card stock is 1.75”x2.25”. Nice and simple 1/4” increments!!
Don’t forget to do the inside of the card as well. Here I used a 5”x3.75” of Basic White card stock and a leftover strip from the designer series paper, its .75” wide by 3.75” long.

Be sure to stop back on Friday and see my final card using the Fruit Salad designer series paper!

Simply Orange!
This week I am going to be using one of the Sale-A-Bration items, the Fruit Salad 6’x6’ designer series paper. This is FREE with a $60. Purchase before taxes and shipping and SAB will be ending at this month.

The other stamp set I will use is Simply Said! This is my favorite all time sentiment set to date. This has then most common sentiments, I always reach for it. It is the main catalog, item number 163756

My card uses almost the entire 6”x6” piece of designer series paper, I have one strip that .75”x 3.50” left over. I used a piece on the inside and the envelope, I would say that is a good usage of a piece of designer series paper!

The supplies used are Pumpkin Pie and Basic White card stock, Pumpkin Pie ink pad, White 1/2” woven ribbon, pop dots and of course the Fruit Salad designer series paper. I also decorated the outside flap of the envelope and added one of the 3/4”x3.50” strips to the inside of the card.

Be back on Wednesday for another new card featuring the Fruit Salad designer series paper.

New week, new stamp set!
Made it through last week, with the Wildflower Birthday bundle, I love that bundle so it make a re-appearance at some point. This week I am going to focus on “With You In Mind” stamp set, its on page 18 of the Spring Mini and it s Million Dollar Achiever set. What that means is once you hit 1 million dollars in sale, you get to help design a stamp set! How cool is that!!!! That is a goal of mine for sure.

This is an amazing set, it so versatile! You can use it for many occasions and that is what I love about it, plus the font is just perfect! The price point is nice as well, this is a photopolymer stamp set.
The card that I created today is for a birthday, but you could use the exact layout and just change the sentiment. I used designer series paper that is one of the Sale-A-Bration offering and the sequins are a choice as well.

I decided to run the designer series paper in the middle of card, the size of the ds paper is 2 3/4” X 5 1/4”. This measurement work nice with the 12 x 12 ds paper, for getting multiples out of one sheet. The base of the card is 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” and that color is Blackberry Bliss. Fresh Freesia is the card itself, the size of the cardstock is 5 1/4” x 8 inches. The layering piece for the ds paper is also Blackberry Bliss and that size is 3 inches by 5 1/4 inches. The little strip that looks like ribbon is actually a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock, that size is 1/2 inch x 5 1/4 inch. As you can tell, I keep all my measurements simple, I am not a fan of 1/8 measurements.
Supplies:
With You In Mind stamp set (164747), Bloom Impressions 12×12 designer series paper (164944), Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia, Basic White card stock, Fresh Freesia ink pad, Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins (164970)

This card I added a strip to the back of the envelope. It’s about 2 3/4” x 6” glue it down and then take your scissors and trim around the envelope. It just adds a little to your card when they receive it in the mail. Don’t forget to add a piece of Basic White card stock to the inside of your card for a writing base. My standard size is 3 3/4”x5”. I normally have a whole bunch just cut up and set aside as card insides, they are handy and ready to use! You can also stamp or add designer series paper to the inside as well.
