Peppermint Elf Wishes…..

Welcome Back to the Feature of the Week! I’m using this adorable elf from the Festive Friends bundle.

The base of the card is Real Red followed by a layer of Soft Sea Foam, its 5” x 3 3/4”. Then a 2 inch by 5 inch strip of designer series paper, Christmas Tags & More 6×6, it’s in the holiday mini catalog. a 1/4” strip of Real Red card stock. The elf is stamped with Memento Black ink onto Basic White card stock and then die cut out using the coordinating dies in the bundle. He was colored with the Blends, Soft Sea Foam dark shade and SU900 natural for the face. I added a cute little peppermint swirls gem, they were a hit last year and always kept selling out so SU brought them back for this holiday season. Be sure to grab a package or two of the Real Red & White Peppermint Swirls. Finally added dimensionals to the elf and attached him to a piece of Soft Se3a Foam and Real Red, the size is 2 1/4” x 2 3/4” and then 1/4” bigger for the Real Red. I stamped the saying in Memento Black ink as well.

Be sure to check out my facebook live from today, I made a completely different project on there for you to see. My page on Facebook and Instagram is Memories By Brenda. I would love for your to follow along.

Happy Stampin”!

Festive Friends for the win!!!

My Feature of the Week is Festive Friends bundle! It’s an online exclusive and it’s adorable!!!!

I saw this and had to get it, that snowman is simple adorable!! My first card this week does feature him! When I finished my card, my girls called the Elsa card, I wasn’t even thinking of Frozen when I made it.

The base of the card is Azure Afternoon followed by a layer of Highland Heather. I used Basic White card stock and stamped the snowflakes around using Highland Heather ink and stamping once and then stamping again, it give the lighter color. I die cut the 3 trees from Lights of Aurora designer series paper. The snowman is stamped in Memento Black ink and I used blends to color him in. Added dimensionals to him and then used the Frosted Iridescent Dots. The dots and designer series paper are in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

Come back on Wednesday to see another project featuring Festive Friends bundle. I will be live at 5:30pm cst on Wednesday at my Facebook page, Memories By Brenda and make a whole different project, using the same bundle.

Happy Stampin’!

A Touch of Greenery & Grace…..

Today’s card featuring the Beautiful Gallery designer series paper, has a more elegant look than I normally create. I love the way it turned out!!!!

The base of the card is Basic Beige, I am really beginning to enjoy that added color to our collection! I used a piece of Beautiful Gallery designer series paper for the next layer, (5 1/4” x 4”). Again using the Textured Note dies, I cut out the White Blossoms and added a layer of Mossy Meadow behind it. I used the same dies and cut out a tag for the sentiment that I stamped in Mossy Meadow ink. Finally added a few Iridescent Foil gems to corners.

Leave a comment and let me know what you think of my feature item of the week! I will be live on Facebook at 5:30pm, cst to make another project, using Beautiful Gallery 6×6 designer series paper.

Happy Stampin’!
