Petal Pink Floral
The final card of the week is stunning! It looks complex, but it went together really fast. I love coloring with Blends, you don’t need to be exact and color every single whit space. You can leave some and it blends together just fine.

For the daisy like flowers I used dark Petal Pink on the top and then light on the bottom, I did use the color eraser to make it look lighter. For the stems I used Light Shy Shamrock and Light Boho Blue for the other flowers, the yellow is light Daffodil Delight. The Petal Pink gems are from suite as well.

The base of the card is Petal Pink followed by a 5” x 3 3/4” piece of Petal Pink as well. The designer series paper is 1 1/2” x 4 3/4”. I stamped the flowers in Memento ink and also the saying. I used the blends and then die cute out the flower, added pop dots and attached it to the card. Finally adding the low-profile gems to finish off the card.
Supplies: Mixed Florals stamp set, Mixed Labels stamp set, Petal Pink, Basic White card stock, Mixed Media Florals 12×12 designer series paper, Memento black ink, Low-profile gems, Big Shot, Mixed Florals dies & pop dots. Blends used are Light Boho Blue, Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight, Shy Shamrock. Dark Petal Pink & Color lifter.

With Sympathy
It’s never fun to make these type of cards, its just best to have them on hand. This is my interpretation of a Z fold card. Florals are usually my go to for sympathy cards and I love the color combination.

The colors are Boho Blue (which is retiring and I am very sad about, I love this color of blue!) and Flirty Flamingo. I did double layer the sentiment, die cutting out two of the Boho Blue shapes and then layering them. Normal card size, 4 1/4” x 11” and folded at 5 1/2” and then score at 2 3/4” and fold back.
Supplies are: Boho Blue, Flirty Flamingo and Basic White card stock, Mixed Media Florals designer series paper, Mixed Labels cling stamp set, Mixed Labels dies, Big Shot, Pop dots, Boho Blue ink pad & White 1/4” ribbon.

Remember make the cards, send the cards and caring is sharing! See you on Friday for what I think is my favorite card of the week!

Mixed Media Floral Suite
This week I will be creating with the Mixed Media Floral Suite, it had the most votes from my poll on Facebook & Instagram. Be sure to follow me on both, Memories by Brenda is my user name.

This suite is an on-line exclusive and its features 2 stamp sets, dies, 3D embossing folder, gems and designer series paper! It’s a fantastic choice, its item number #164659, $128 US, before taxes and shipping.
My card for today can be used for almost any occasion, it’s sweet & simply, looks complex, but it is not.

This card is a little busier than I normally would have picked, but after it was finished, I really like the way it came together. We have a little bit of everything from embossing to blends and even two-tone sparkle gems, which is an on-line exclusive offering, but they pull in all the colors and it sparkles really well.

The base of the card is Shy Shamrock followed by a piece of 5”x 3 3/4” Petal Pink, that was ran through the embossing machine using the Plaster Painting 3d folder, added a strip of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper, that is 1” x 5” and then the other side of the same paper that is 1/2” x 5”. The flowers are stamped with Memento ink, since I am using blends for coloring. The Basic White is 1”x 2 1/4” and then Shy Shamrock layer is a 1/4” bigger. The colors I used for the blends are Petal Pink, Boho Blue & Flirty Flamingo, all dark shades. Finally added the two-two sparkle gems, it really does pull the Boho Blue from the designer series paper and flower in the middle.
Supplies: Shy Shamrock, Petal Pink & Basic White card stock, Mixed Media Florals designer series paper, Memento ink, Petal Pink, Boho Blue, Flirty Flamingo blends- dark shade, Two-Tone Sparkle Gems, Plaster Painting 3D embossing folder & Big Shot machine.
