Pops of Purple Thanks
This week I am featuring Brights & Beautiful designer series paper along with Spotlight in Nature. I loved this set when I first saw it, but when I went to grab it, it has never been used, so I had to fix that! I think it will be available online when the new catalog comes out. But lets talk about the paper.

It’s is on the last chance list, so better get it while its still here and that’s a fantastic price!!
I am starting the week out on a purple note! This card is special since I fussy cut the butterfly, something I am not a fan of doing is fussy cutting. One little item is okay, just not me!

I stamped the butterfly in Blackberry Bliss onto the Basic White 2” square and then I stamped another one onto a scrap piece of Basic White, fussy cut and used pop dots to attach it to the square. I couldn’t find my Fresh Freesia marker, so I used a little q-tip and dipped it into my Fresh Freesia ink pad. I couldn’t use a blender pen since the Blackberry Bliss ink would run. Finally added a little Wink of Stella and some purple gems and it was complete.

This card did not photograph the best, it looks better in person, the shine and sparkle from the Wink of Stella & gems is perfect!
Supplies: Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss, Basic White Card stock, Spotlight on Nature stamp set, Brights & Beautiful designer series paper, Blackberry Bliss ink pad, Fresh Freesia marker or use my alternative, lol! Wink of Stella & Purple Gems. The card is a normal side card, which opens from right side, the BlackBerry Bliss squares are 1 1/2” square and the Basic White is 2” square. Pop dots were used on the BlackBerry Bliss base layer and on the Basic White 2’ square.

Udderly Adorable
I love the gray/pink combination and it works perfectly for today’s card! I used the cow builder punch and it better than fussy cutting, but the extra parts going flying when punch. It took a little work getting the head and body lined up in the punch and as you can see, I am off a little. I used scrap pieces of Whisper White card stock, so that I had plenty of room in the punch, the body is at the bottom of the punch. Pebble Path is one of the in-colors that will be retiring at the end of April. I used the card stock and the marker, but it shows up here looking black, but its gray in person.

I used the too largest squares from the Styled Shape dies for the base of the cow. I stamped the single flower in Petal Pink on the piece of Petal Pink card stock. I glued the cow head to the body and used pop dots to adhere the cow to base.

I just love the way this card turned out! Pebble Path ink is showing up much darker than it actually is in person, it looks black but I used Pebble Path ink for the saying & the cow and then the marker for the spots, feet & tail. The designer series paper is Country Lace and will be retiring at the end of April as well.
Supplies: Petal Pink, Pebbled Path & Basic White card stock, Cutest Cow stamp set & builder punch, Stylish Shape dies, Big Shot, Pebbled Path & Petal Pink inks & markers, Basic Gray & Smokey Slate Pearls & many pop dots.

Cutest Sunflowers
This week I will be creating with Cutest Cow stamp set, along with the cow punch and the stylish shapes dies. I feel the dies work really well with this set, my card today uses 2 of the shapes. Such a fun, cute set I will be sad to see it retire then end of April.

My card for today is a card that would work for many different occasions, who doesn’t love sunflowers?

The base of the card is Basic Black, followed by a layer of Daffodil Delight and a layer from Beautiful Bokeh. I used the largest banner die is Basic Black and then I framed the seconded biggest square die with Basic Black card stock. I stamped in the sunflowers in Memento black ink and used Light Old Olive blends and Dark Daffodil Delight blends. I added Wink of Stella to the sunflowers and 2 iridescent foil gems. I mean look at the sparkle from the Wink of Stella! The gems have a gold shiny sparkle to them as well.

Supplies used: Cutest Cow stamp set, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight & Basic White card stock. Beautiful Bokeh designer series paper, Memento Black ink, Old Olive ink, Light Old Olive Blends, Dark Daffodil Delight Blends, Big Shot, Stylish Shape dies, Iridescent Foil Gems, Wink of Stella & Pop dots.
