Lavender Delight
Today’s card is a different layout than I normally use. I was playing around with the design for a while and trying to use up scraps! I really like the way it turned out and it’s a great use of designer series paper.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake followed by a 5” x 3 3/4” piece of Perennial Lavender (good news this will be in the new catalog) and a strip of Crumb Cake, 1 1/4” wide by 3 3/4” long. Basic White strip, 1/2 in smaller in height but same length. Saying stamped in Gorgeous Grape. The main focal point is another piece of designer series paper, which is 2 1/4” x 4” and then layered on Gorgeous Grape card stock. Use some Purple gems, which will also be in the new catalog and your card is finished!
Supplies:
Crumb Cake, Basic White & Gorgeous Grape card stock, Perennial Lavender designer series paper, Gorgeous Grape ink pad, pop dots & Purple Fine Shimmer Gems. So Sincere Stamp set, looks like its already sold out on-line but any sentiment that fits the space will work.

Leafing with Pretty Peacock
Back again with Nature Spotlight and Brights & Beautiful designer series paper. A somewhat of similar type as the leaves are colored in but this time I used a Blender Pen and kept the Wink of Stella. Wink of Stella adds the perfect amount of sparkle and shine without adding bulk to your card.

The layout of this card is simply a Pretty Peacock base followed by a layer of Pretty Peacock that is attached with pop dots and then a 1 1/2” strip of Brights & Beautiful designer series paper and then I stamped the leaves in Pretty Peacock ink and used the Blender Pen to color in and added stamped off little dots and finally Wink of Stella. I gently roughed up the paper and added inking around the entire image to look like a layer, but again it doesn’t add the weight to the card. Finished it off with some Adhesive-Backed Texture dots.

Supplies: Spotlight on Nature stamp set, Pretty In Peacock & Basic White Card stock, Brights & Beautiful designer series paper, Pretty in Peacock ink pad, Wink of Stella, Blender Pen, Adhesive-Backed Texture Dots & Pop dots.
