Keep In Touch

Following Monday’s path, I am using Frames & Flowers ds paper and Pattern of Friendship stamp set. The stamp set is an online exclusive and available now for purchase.

Keeping it simple is my favorite way to go! This card is exactly that, the flowers from the designer series paper help with that a bunch!

The base of the card is Petal Pink followed by a layer of Pretty Peacock that has pop dots on it. Next is a piece of designer series paper, a strip of Pretty Peacock that is 3/4” x 3 3/4”. For the flowers it is 3 separate pieces from the die cuts, I used glue dots to adhere them together. Below is a picture of the ones that I used.

Supplies: Pattern of Friendship stamp set, Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock & Basic White card stock, Pretty Peacock ink, Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper, Pop dots, glue dots & Low Profile dots.

Frames & Flowers & Birthday!

I thought it was time to finally open Frames & Flowers 12×12 speciality designer series paper. I am not 100% if this going to retire or just be available online. I better use it this week! This is a different type of ds paper, it has frames & flowers that all punch out, 3 double sided designer series paper, one page of square frame images, that is what I am using on today’s card.

My card has a simple layout and the saying can be changed with anything you would want to use. I am NOT good at fussy cutting and I feel it shows, I wanted the cute bubble words on the front, but I need to practice more fussy cutting. I guess my day job as a childcare provider doesn’t give me enough practice, I basically cut items out everyday for project time.

The base of the card is Lost Lagoon and the frame is on a piece of 3 3/4” x 5” Petal Pink card stock. The saying is stamped Lost Lagoon on Basic White card stock and fussy cutting. I added low profile dots and then pop dots are on the base of the leave frame and on the fussy cut words.

Supplies: Pattern of Friendship stamp set, Frames & Flowers designer series paper, Lost Lagoon, Petal Pink & Basic White card stock, Lost Lagoon ink, Low-profile dots and pop dots.

Thoughts of Green

The final card of the week is not purple! I switched it up and used the greens today. This is a simple, yet elegant card, just for the right time.

The base of the card is Lost Lagoon, followed by the Perennial Lavender designer series paper, a strip of White 1/4” diagonal trim. The sentiment is stamped in Pretty Peacock and layered on to Lost Lagoon with a few mini pop dots on it.
