Technostamper Sketch Challenge 160
It's been a while since I've played along with MJ's sketch challenge. Be sure to check out www.technostamper.blogspot.com for all the details. Here is this weeks sketch:

I had a blast creating my card!!! Here it is….
.jpg)
The base of the card is Pear Pizzazz followed by Pacific Point and Celebrate designer series paper. I stamped the cupcake using Basic Black ink and colored it in with SU markers. You can't tell from the picture, but I stamped two cupcakes and then cut out the frosting part on put it onto the card with pop dots. I used the decorative label punch to make the saying part. Nothing fancy, just punched one out in Whisper White and the other one in Pacific Point, I let the bottom one hang out just a little bit. I added the ribbon and then made the bow. You can find all the details on how to make these awesome bows from Mary at Stamper Camper. She is awesome and I love making bows this way.
Supplies:
- Crazy for Cupcakes and On Your Birthday stamp sets
- Pear Pizzazz, Pacific Point and Whisper White card stock
- Celebrations designer series paper
- Basic Black ink pad
- SU markers
- Decorative label punch, Real Red grosgrain ribbon and Ice circle brads
Take a minute to go to MJ's site and add your sample to the rest of the talented stampers.

Here is this week's Technostamper's Sketch Challenge:

Great sketch MJ!! Here is what I came up with:
.jpg)
I had too many ideas going through my head, so I had the SU Idea Book in one hand and the color coach in the other. I started going through the color coach, until I found a color combination and then I went to the catalog and found a stamp set to use. The process works for me when I really don't a good starting point, I love using these two tools.
The base of the card is Wild Wasabi and then a strip of Garden Green. It's really hard to see on the picture, but I used the word script from the Charming stamp set and stamped the Garden Green card stock with the words using, Wild Wasabi ink. It looks really good in person, just not on the picture. I used the Big Shot and ran a piece of Marina Mist card stock through using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. Then I tied a piece of Early Espresso 1/4" grosgrain ribbon around the inside of the card. For the flowers, I used the SU markers, Wild Wasabi and Marina Mist. Just color in the images and then give it a little huff and stamp onto Whisper White card stock. Finally I added a little Early Espresso card stock followed by pop dots.
Supplies:
- Charming stamp set
- Wild Wasabi, Garden Green, Early Espresso, Marina Mist and Whisper White card stock
- Wild Wasabi ink pad
- SU Markers ~ Wild Wasabi and Marina Mist
- Big Shot and Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder
- Early Espresso 1/4" grosgrain ribbon and pop dots

Time for another round of Technostamper's Sketch Challenge. Here is Mary Jo's sketch:
I had so much fun with this sketch!!! I'm getting so excited for the new catalog, so in honor of that I used everything that will be in the new catty!!!!
.jpg)
The base of the card is Marina Mist, followed by Daffodil Delight and Presto Speciality Paper. I sponged the Presto paper with Marina Mist. I used Awash with Flowers stamp set to make the flowers, they are stamped in Basic Black and Pretty in Pink inks. The middle one is attached to the card and the side two are raised up with pop dots. The saying is from the level 3 hostess set, Occasional Quotes. Finally I used 1/8" Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon.
Supplies:
- Awash with Flowers and Occasional Quotes stamp sets
- Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White card stock
- Presto Speciality designer series paper
- Marina Mist, Pretty in Pink and Basic Black ink pads
- 1/8" Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon, pop dots and sponge
I hope that you can take a moment to stop at Technostamper's site and play along, or at least check out everyone else that is playing.

Time for this week's Technostamper Sketch Challenge!!!!! I enjoy participating in these, so much. Thanks MJ!! Here is the sketch….

It's a great sketch, I had fun with these. I was playing around with the sneak peek Greenhouse Gala designer series paper. Wonderful paper, I can't wait for you to see the new catalog. It's the best one yet!!!!!!!

This card starts out with Baja Breeze and then Pear Pizzazz (one of the 2010 in-colors). Then it's the brand new Greenhouse Gala designer series paper. The colors in this package are awesome!!!!! I used Watercolor Trio stamp set from the summer mini catalog and took the Baja Breeze and Pear Pizzazz markers and colored in the stamp. Then I inked up the saying in Basic Black and stamped that onto the card stock. I took Whisper White taffeta ribbon and colored it with the Baja Breeze marker, works like a charm. Finally I added a few pop dots to the back and added it to the card.
Supplies:
- Watercolor Trio stamp set
- Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White card stock
- Greenhouse Gala designer series paper
- SU Markers ~ Baja Breeze and Pear Pizzazz
- Basic Black ink pad
- Whisper White taffeta ribbon and pop dots
