Wish Big…

This week's challenge on the Late Night Stamper's group is to use the Big Shot.  Easy enough challenge, I love my Big Shot and use it all the time.  Here was one of my samples:

This is a great birthday card for a man, at least that was my thinking.  The base of the card is Marina Mist followed by Soft Suede.  This was ran through the Big Shot using the Lattice Square embossing folder.  I stamped the image in Soft Suede and colored in the word with the Marina Mist marker.  I added a piece of Elegant Soiree designer series paper and then tied a piece of twill ribbon around it.  Attach it to a piece of Marina Mist card stock and then added a few pop dots.

Supplies:

  • Bring on the Cake stamp set
  • Marina Mist, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla card stock
  • Elegant Soiree designer series paper
  • Soft Suede ink pad and Marina Mist marker
  • Big Shot and Lattice Square embossing folder
  • Twill Tape and pop dots

I hope that you will have time to play along with the Late Night Stampers.  If you haven't join yet, what are you waiting for.  Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/StampinUpLNStampers/ and join us.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my creations.  It was a pleasure to have you and I love reading the comments.

It's Monday so it's time for Technostamper's Sketch Challenge!!!!  Here is the sketch that MJ has for this week.

It's a nice square card, I like the simplicity of this sketch.  I made a masculine card, which will work perfect for the Late Night Stamper's challenge this week.

The size of my card is 5 inch square and the base is Chocolate Chip card stock.  Then I stamped the Woodgrain stamp in Chocolate Chip ink and covered the front of the card.  Next is a piece of Old Olive card stock with a layer of Play Date designer series paper.  Then I added a piece of Whisper White grosgrain ribbon.  I stamped the deer from Nature Silhouettes in Chocolate Chip ink.  Layered the deer onto Chocolate Chip and Old Olive card stock and then added pop dots.  I didn't have any buttons in the color I wanted, so I made my own!  I used the Big Shot and the Buttons #5 sizzlits die to create my button and added a piece of Whisper White grosgrain ribbon and glued it to the piece.  The sentiment comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, its stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and then punched out with the word window punch and layered onto the modern label punch.  I added two Old Olive brads and then pop dotted it to the card.

Supplies:

  • Nature Silhouettes, Woodgrain and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets
  • Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Whisper White card stock
  • Play Date designer series paper
  • Chocolate Chip ink pad
  • Big Shot and Buttons #5 sizzlits die
  • Word Window and Modern Label Punches
  • Old Olive brads, Whisper White grosgrain ribbon and pop dots

I hope that you have time to play along this week, go to www.technostamper.blogspot.com to see everyone's creations and to add yours.
