LNS Challenge 172

There has been a few changes on the LNS design team this past week.  First off, we have added new design team members!!!  Check out my sidebar for everyone!  Second, my weekly post for the challenge will be on Sundays.  This week's challenge is "Sorry to See You Go"  so basically anything that will be retiring from paper, stamps, accessories, etc.  Here is my card for this week:

Pocket Silhouettes is a retiring stamp set, I will be sad to see it go, I used it quite a bit.  The base of the card is Pear Pizzazz followed by Blushing Bride card stock.  I added a piece of Blushing Bride designer series paper from the paper stack and added the pear pizzazz ribbon.  I stamped the flower in Pear Pizzazz ink and repeated it, four times.  Layered the stamped image onto Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz card stock and added a few pop dots.

• Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride & Whisper White card stock
• In-Color Designer Series Paper Pack
• Pear Pizzazz ink pad
• Pear Pizzazz ribbon and pop dots

LNS Challenge 170 ~ Pinterest CASE

This week's challenge at LateNight Stampers is to CASE Pinterest.  I Love that site, very easy to use and there are wonderful ideas for everything on it.  Plus you can follow me!!  Here is my CASE

This card is featuring the Summer Smooches promotion, that will be ending in a few days!  I tweaked the card a bit from the original artist, I added the saying in a square and the ribbon.  Anyways, I really love the way this card turned out!!!

The base of the card is Whisper White card stock, followed by 1/2" strips of Summer Smooches designer series paper.  The nice thing about this card is that you can use any scraps of paper that you have left.  The saying is from the hostess set "Happiest Birthday Wishes", which will also be retiring at the end of May.  This is one set, that I WILL NOT be parting with, I use it all the time.  It's perfect for birthdays.

• Happiest Birthday Wishes stamp set
• Whisper White & Real Red card stock
• Summer Smooches designer series paper
• Real Red ink pad
• 1/8" Real Red Taffeta ribbon & glue dot

So Sweet…..

Here is a card that was made at my April's card class.  It uses "Up in the Air" hostess set, from the Occasion Mini catalog.  Hurry, you only have until the end of the month to get this set.

The base of the card is Blushing Bride, this is an in-color that WILL BE retiring at the end of the catalog.  If you like this color, I would order it soon before it runs out.  I also used a piece of Blushing Bride designer series paper in the paper stack.  I carefully inked up the flowers in Chocolate Chip ink and used the Blushing Bride marker to color in the butterflies.  Then I finished coloring in the rest of the flowers with SU markers.  I added three rhinestone jewels to the bottom.

• Chocolate Chip ink pad
• SU Markers ~ Blushing Bride & Pear Pizzazz

Happy St. Patty’s Day!!!

Happy St. Patty's Day to all of you!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a card that I created for a customer.  If you ever need a special type of card made, just send me an email.  The base of this card is Garden Green followed by a piece of Whisper White card stock that was ran through the Big Shot.  I used the perfect polka dot embossing folder.  Added three strips of Daffodil Delight grosgrain ribbon.  I used the Labels collection framelits to cut out the Garden Green and Whisper White cs.  I stamped the image in Garden Green ink and added a rhinestone.

• Happy St. Patrick's Day stamp
• Garden Green & Whisper White card stock
• Garden Green ink pad
• Daffodil Delight grosgrain ribbon
• Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder and Labels collection framelits
• Rhinestone jewel
