New Year, sneak peak!!

Happy New Year!!!!  Welcome to 2009!!  As the new year begins, I am going to show you a sneak peek of one of the new hostess sets that will be in the catalog, that will be available in only 18 days.  I can hardly wait to see that catalog.  This hostess set is called "Echoes of Kindness" and it is a level two hostess set.  I made this card for a swap, the theme was "think spring". 

 I stamped the flowers using black staz on and then I colored the image using our lovely watercolor crayons and the aqua painter.  I started with Barely Banana, and then added Perfect Plum and finished off by adding a little Sage Shadow to the stem.  I added a little detail with a clip, from the clip assortments and added a little Whisper White taffeta ribbon.  The image was layered onto the Perfect Plum Pattern designer series paper, then Barely Banana & Perfect Plum card stock.  Then you have a finished card.  I haven’t watercolored for a while, so I forgot how much I enjoyed it.

• Perfect Plum pattern designer series paper
• Black Staz on ink
• Watercolor Crayons ~ Barely Banana, Perfect Plum & Sage Shadow
• Aqua painter, clip assortments, whisper white taffeta ribbon & pop dots
