Sketch Frenzy Friday
This week it was my turn to create the sketch! Here is what I came up with, thanks to using My Digital Studio by SU.

This is the first time that I have created a sketch, hopefully in the future it will get easier. This is the card that I created:

The base of the card is Concord Crush, one of the new in-colors, followed by a layer of Daffodil Delight. Using the Big Shot and the Top Note die, I cut two out using Whisper White and Concord Crush card stock. The flower is from the level 2 hostess set called, Fast and Fabulous. I took my SU markers and colored the image with Pear Pizzazz and Concord Crush and then on the solid image, I used the Concord Crush marker, but I stamped off two times before I stamped onto the Whisper White card stock. I wanted just a little color, not too much. For the ribbon, I used 5/8" Whisper White satin ribbon and glue dots. I added a strip of glue dots to the back of the ribbon and just started gathering as I went. Finally I stamped the saying, which is from Full of Life stamp set.
Supplies:
- Fast and Fabulous and Full of Life stamp sets
- Concord Crush, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White card stock
- Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz SU markers
- 5/8" Whisper White satin ribbon and pop dots
- Big Shot and Top Note die
I hope that you will continue on the sketch frenzy journey, the next stop is Connie's site.
Thank you for visiting my site today, I loved having you here!!

The base of the card is Marina Mist, followed by Daffodil Delight and Presto Speciality Paper. I sponged the Presto paper with Marina Mist. I used Awash with Flowers stamp set to make the flowers, they are stamped in Basic Black and Pretty in Pink inks. The middle one is attached to the card and the side two are raised up with pop dots. The saying is from the level 3 hostess set, Occasional Quotes. Finally I used 1/8" Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon.
Supplies:
- Awash with Flowers and Occasional Quotes stamp sets
- Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White card stock
- Presto Speciality designer series paper
- Marina Mist, Pretty in Pink and Basic Black ink pads
- 1/8" Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon, pop dots and sponge
I hope that you can take a moment to stop at Technostamper's site and play along, or at least check out everyone else that is playing.
Thank you for visiting today, I hope that you have enjoyed my card.

Sketch Frenzy Friday!~!
Here is this week's sketch:

I really had troubles with this sketch, I flipped it on the side and changed the sentiment way as well.

The base of the card is Cherry Cobbler, yes one of the new in-colors. Followed by a layer of Basic Black and then Newsprint designer series paper. Yes, this is a new items from the sneak peek items, I was able to order as a demonstrator. I stamped the bird in Cherry Cobbler ink and then added the flowers in Basic Black. I tried to "vintage" the card up a bit, by bending the card stock and adding the ink smudges around it. Finally I stamped the saying "for you" in Basic Black.
Please continue on the path to Connie's site. We would love for you to see everyone's creations.
Supplies:
- Elements of Style stamp set
- Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla card stock
- Newsprint designer series paper
- Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler ink pads
- Pop dots
Thank you for visiting today, I hope that you have enjoyed my sneak peek at a few new items that are in the new catalog.

A Day At the Zoo….
Last month I held a Scrapbooking night, since it was National Scrapbooking Month and here was one of the layouts that we made.

I started with 12 x 12 Old Olive card stock. Then I grabbed Tall Tales designer series paper and thought that this would make a cute zoo page. There is a strip of Chocolate Chip card stock that has been punched out with the scallop border punch and then a layer of So Saffron card stock. Then on the Tall Tales designer series paper, I took the Ticket Corner punch and punched out each corner and added Brilliant Blue brads. This is done on both sides of the pages. In the middle is the white journaling boxes. They too are using the ticket corner punch and Brilliant Blue brads. For the title I used Contempo Alphabet stamp set, each letter was stamped onto Whisper White card stock. I always use craft ink on my pages, it does take a little time to dry, but I know that stamped item will be there forever. The colors I used are Brilliant Blue and Rose Red, then the circle punches to punch out the letters and added a pop dot to each one. I matted all the pictures with So Saffron and Chocolate Chip, about 1/8".
Here are a few more pictures:
Supplies:
- Contempo Alphabet stamp set
- Old Olive, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Rose Red and Whisper White card stock
- Tall Tales designer series paper
- Brilliant Blue and Rose Red craft ink
- Brilliant Blue brads
- Ticker Corner Punch, Scallop border punch, 3/4" circle punch and 1 inch punch and pop dots
Thank you for visiting today, I hope that you have enjoyed my scrapbook pages!!!
