Happy Memorial Day to everyone!!!  Here is this week's sketch for Technostamper's Sketch Challenge:

I had a blast creating my card, I really like this sketch.  You might even seen it later on this week…

The base of the card is Rich Razzleberry card stock, followed by a layer of Whisper White card stock.  Then I wanted to use a piece of Rich Razzleberry Patterns Designer Series Paper.  I layered that onto Rich Razzleberry and then Chocolate Chip card stock.  I use a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock for the strip.  Then I stamped the cupcake from Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set, using Basic Brown ink.  I colored in the cupcake using SU markers ~ Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry.  Then using the Tombow glue, applied that to the frosting part of the cupcake and then added Chunky White glitter.  Finally added pop dots to the back and attach it to the card.

Sketch Frenzy #2

Thank you for all the wonderful comments from the very first Sketch Frenzy Friday!!!  It was so much fun making the card and then seeing everyone's creations.  This week we have another great sketch.

I love this sketch, there are so many possibilities!!!  Here is the card that I made:

This card is so much better in real life, its hard to capture the smooch spritz on it.  The base of the card is Pretty in Pink, followed by a layer of Basic Gray card stock.  I took a piece of the Presto Pattern Specialty Paper and sponged on Pretty in Pink ink over it and like magic the pattern appears.  If you have never tried the Presto Paper, it is a MUST HAVE, this paper is awesome!!!!!!!  Then I attached the Basic Gray taffeta ribbon and added four brads.  I used the birthday greeting from the King of the Grill stamp set and stamped it on a piece of the Presto Pattern paper and placed it in the hodgepodge hardware.  Finally I spritzed the card using Vanilla Shimmer.

Supplies:

Take a minute and click on the blog list on the left hand side of my site, there is all of the players.  We love to read your comments.  Thank you for visiting my site!!!

TSSC 123

It's time for another round of Technostamper's Sketch Challenge!!!  Here is the interesting sketch that MJ created for this week:

This isn't my favorite card, but it will work for this sketch.

I started with the First Day stamp set, I think that stamp set is way too cute.  The base of the card is Real Red and then its Creamy Carmel.  I used the Itty Bitty Backgrounds stamp set to stamp little random dots over the card stock.  I stamped a line of apples, using the clear stamp, this was a breeze.  It was so easy to line up the apples and keep right on stamping.  Then I colored them in with SU markers.  I punched out the scallop strip in Real Red card stock, I did trim it down so it wasn't so wide.  Then I stamped the little bug, colored him in and punched him out with the 1 3/8" circle punch.  Then using the 1 3/4" circle punch I punched out a Real Red circle.  I applied the pop dots to the Whisper White circle and then I put pop dots on the back side of the Real Red circle.  Finally I added the sentiment using the Chit Chat rub ons.

Supplies:

I hope that you can find time to stop at www.technostamper.blogspot.com and see all of the wonderful creations.  Please take a moment and leave a comment.  Everyone loves to read your comments.

Island Birthday

Here is a quick and easy card to make and it's fitting since it's a belated birthday card.   I always need them at the last minute!!!   The base of the card is Tempting Turquoise, followed by a layer of Pumpkin Pie card stock.  Then a piece of Island Oasis designer series paper.  I used Old Olive satin ribbon and place the brad onto of the ribbon with the prongs opened and then I closed the prongs and pushed it through the layers.  I stamped my greeting in Basic Black ink and then layered that onto it's card stock.
