Flower Fancy
There is still time to order your Flower Fancy stamp set at 20% off. The sales ends on April 30, 2010. You can check out all the sets that are on sale, by clicking on the "specials" tab. I really like Flower Fancy, but to be honest, I have had it for over a year and I just put it together on Monday. Ugh! So after that I started creating and this is what I came up with:

The base of the card is Mellow Moss, followed by Basic Black. Then with my favorite, Big Shot and Perfect Polka dot impression folder, I ran through the Whisper White card stock. I attached the Regal Rose ribbon and tied it into a knot. I stamped the flower outline in Basic Black and then I took SU markers and colored in the flowers with Regal Rose and the leaves with Mellow Moss and applied to the outline. I was so impressed, that I actually got the inside to line up almost perfect. That never happens!!! Plus when using two-step stamps, sometimes it looks better when they don’t line up. I have been adding insides to my cards as well lately.

I you can see, I took a Whisper White card stock and stamped the outline and flower onto it. I did stamp off to make the image lighter. Don’t forget about the envelope!! I wasn’t sure what I was going to use the card for, so I left a saying off. I can always go back and put it on, I was thinking of using the scallop oval punch, maybe in Basic Black and then adding a small whisper white oval on the inside of the scallop oval.
Supplies:
- Flower Fancy stamp set
- Mellow Moss, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock
- Big Shot and Perfect Polka Dot impression folder
- Basic Black ink pad
- SU markers in Regal Rose and Mellow Moss
- Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon and pop dots
I hope that you have enjoyed today’s sample. Thank you so much for visiting my site. Until next time…

TSSC 118
I’m in a streak, I have participated in the last four tssc!!! Yeah for me, I really enjoy them, so I am making the time on Sunday to get it done. I was looking ahead to next week, I might have to make a scrap book page, so I better start tomorrow. I love to scrap book, but it takes me forever. Ok, back to this week’s sketch. Here is what MJ came up with:

When I saw this sketch, I immediately went to my pre-ordered items from the Summer mini catalog and grab the Itty Bitty Bits stamp set. It is super, it also has matching punches and clear buttons that you can purchase as well. Here is what I came up with:

The base of the card is Rich Razzleberry textured card stock, followed by a layer of Whisper White card stock. Then I took a piece of Crushed Curry and using the Big Shot and the soon to be available, Square Lattice impression folder and ran it through. I stamped the flowers in Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo inks. Then I took the Crushed Curry SU maker and colored in the middle of each flower. I punched the flowers out with matching punch. They come in a package of three punches, that will work with the stamps. How cool is that!! Then I cut a pop dot in half and attached it to each of the flowers and lined them up. Finally added the Rich Razzleberry polka dot ribbon and the card is done.
Supplies:
- Itty Bitty Bits stamp set, available May 1st.
- Rich Razzleberry textured card stock
- Crushed Curry and Whisper White card stock
- Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo ink pads
- Crushed Curry SU marker
- Rich Razzleberry polka dot ribbon and pop dots
- Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack

LNS Challenge 66
The challenge this week on Latenight Stampers was to create something that could only use your country’s flag colors. I live in the US, so my color are red, white and blue. When I hear those colors, I automatically think of 4th of July. I also had pre-ordered a new stamp set from the Summer Mini that has fireworks and such, so I have a winner!!!! Here is my creation:

I really like how this card turned out, I think it may be my favorite 4th of July card ever. I normally don’t make 4th of July cards, I just liked the stamp set and thought that it would be cute on a few scrapbook pages. The base of the card is real red card stock, followed by a layer of brilliant blue and then whisper white. I stamped the 4th of July saying in brilliant blue ink and then the fireworks in real red. I tied the real red satin ribbon all the way around the card. For the main image, I used the SU markers in real red and brilliant blue. I started out by coloring the middle real red and then went along with the brilliant blue marker. I huffed on the stamped before stamping, to remoisten the ink. After I was done stamping, then I stamped it again, to make the lighter image. Finally I took the a different fireworks stamp and stamped it into real red ink and stamped off on a scratch paper and then stamped directly onto the whisper white. I think that it fills in the white areas perfectly! I layer the whisper white fireworks onto brilliant blue and then real red card stock, added a few pop dots and your done.
Supplies:
- July Fourth stamp set ~ available on May 1st.
- Real Red, Brilliant Blue and Whisper White card stock
- Real Red and Brilliant Blue ink pads
- Real Red and Brilliant Blue SU Markers
- Real Red satin ribbon and pop dots
I hope that you enjoyed today’s card. Thank you so much for visiting my site, I love reading all your comments!!

A little birdie…..
I finally ordered the extra large two-step bird punch a few months ago and I love it!!! It took me a while to like it, but after seeing a bazillion different samples, I knew that I needed it. Here is a card that I made with it.
I didn’t come up with this idea, there was a card similar to this is our demonstrators only magazine. Each and every month, we as demonstrators get this awesome magazine that is full of ideas. It helps me in planning my workshops and classes. I think that it is almost my favorite item, well besides the Idea Book and Catalog.
The base of the card is Old Olive, followed by a strip of Old Olive Patterns designer series paper. Add the Old Olive 5/8" grosgrain ribbon and tie a knot. I took the Rich Razzleberry textured card stock and ran it through the big shot using the Elegant Bouquet impressions embossing folder. Then I punched out the bird from a piece of Old Olive card stock and a piece from the Sweet Pea designer series paper pack. I started by gluing down the Old Olive stem. Then I attached the wing to the bird with a pop dot. Then I placed a few pop dots on the back of the bird and position it to make it look like its sitting on the stem.
Supplies:
- Old Olive card stock
- Rich Razzleberry textured card stock
- Old Olive Patterns designer series paper and Sweet Pea designer series paper pack
- Extra large two-step bird punch
- Old Olive 5/8" grosgrain ribbon
- Big Shot and Elegant Bouquet impression embossing folder
- Pop dots
I hope that you enjoyed today’s card. If you are interested in becoming a demonstrator, I would love to have you on my team. Please give me a call or send me an email and I will answers all of your questions.
Thanks for stopping by my site!!!!
