Melon Mambo Daisies

This is a card that I created and it happens to be a favorite of mine!  I really just love the colors.  I started with Melon Mambo card stock for the base, then I added Rich Razzleberry.  I ran the Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot using texture plate #4 set, it is the ones with all the lines on it.  Then added a piece of Razzleberry Lemonade designer series paper and followed that with a piece of Melon Mambo polka dot ribbon.  I stamped the daisies in Melon Mambo ink and then layered that onto Rich Razzleberry card stock added a few pop dots and then your done.

Beary Best Friends ~ boy style

Alright, just a few days late, but here is my boy version using Beary Best Friends.

For this card, I grab the Pawsitively Prints designer series paper, this helped me pick out which colors I wanted to use.  I used Ballet Blue for the base and then added So Saffron and layered the pawsitively prints ds paper and added a strip of ballet blue card stock and attached the so saffron brads.  For the bear, I stamped him in Basic Black and used the SU markers to color him in.  Added a few pop dots and attached him to the card.  I also chose to leave off a saying, that way when the reason comes around I can stamp it on.

• SU  Markers, So Saffron brads & pop dots

Beary Best Friends ~ girl style

In the holiday mini catalog there is a selection of Build-A-Bear workshop items.  I purchased Beary Best Friends and since I haven’t used it yet, I figured that I would make a card or two.

I started with Basic Black then I added Regal Rose and then used the Night and Day Specialty designer series paper.  I stamped the girl with a balloon using Basic Black ink and then used the SU Markers to color.  I wanted something a little different for the layers, so I have them going off to one side.  I added the Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon around the inside of the card and tied it in a bow.  Put a few pop dots on the bear and attach it to the card.  I did leave off a saying, because I’m not sure what I will use the card for.

• Basic Black ink pad
• SU  Markers, Regal Rose 5/8" grosgrain ribbon & pop dots
