LNS Challenge 126…

This week's challenge over at Late Night Stamper's is "Animal Antics".  Mine is a little bit of a stretch, there are two birds on it.  I needed to make a few swap cards and this is what I created:

This stamp set is called "Snow Much Fun" and it's in the NEW SU Idea Book and Catalog.  I just love snowman!!!  The base of the card is Poppy Parade followed by Early Espresso and Very VanillaPocketful of Posies is the name of the new designer series paper.  I stamped in the snowman in Black Staz On ink and then onto Watercolor Paper.  I used this cool technique, that I learned about at Stamping 411.  It's called Watercoloring with Blender Pens, I just love the way my card turned out!  Basically I added a little color around the lines and then take the blender pen and color away.  I added a piece of Very Vanilla seam binding ribbon around the card.  For once, I didn't use any pop dots, I know it's a bit of a shocker!!!

Supplies:

  • Snow Much Fun stamp set
  • Poppy Parade, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla card stock
  • Pocketful of Posies designer series paper
  • Watercolor Paper
  • SU Markers and Blender Pens
  • Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by!!!

I Scream for Pennant Parade!

The new catalog is almost here!  Here is a sneak peek at one of the new stamp sets, along with designer series paper, ribbon and a punch.

Here is a card that I made for a swap.  Here is a run down of all the new goodies that I used.  Pennant Parade stamp set, Just Add Cake designer series paper, Petite Pennant builder punch and 1/2" Scallop dot ribbon.

The base of the card is Chocolate Chip followed by a layer of Blushing Bride card stock.  The strip of designer series paper is called "Just Add Cake".  Look at the new ribbon, I'm so excited!  The colors are wonderful!!!!  I stamped the cone ink Chocolate Chip ink and punched it out with the new Petite Pennant punch.  The ice cream is from the same designer series paper and that is punched out from the Cupcake punch, oh and don't forget the cherry on top.

Supplies:

  • Pennant Parade stamp set
  • Chocolate Chip, Blushing Bride and Whisper White card stock
  • Just Add Cake designer series paper
  • Chocolate Chip ink pad
  • 1/2" Chocolate Chip Scallop Dot ribbon
  • Petite Pennant and Cupcake builder punches
  • Pop dots

If you would like a copy of the new Idea Book and Catalog and you don't current have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, leave me a comment or send me an email and I will mail you out.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope that you have enjoyed this sneak peek.

Happy Little Bug

When I saw the new Playful Polka Dot Simply Scrappin kit in the Summer Mini catalog, I knew that I had to have it.  Here is a page that I created from it.

Lindsay was 4 months old in the picture, but today is 26 months old.  Let's just say, I'm really behind on my pages.  The way I look at it is that I have 4 years until my oldest graduates high school, I better get moving.

The base of the page is the Rose Red texture card stock, followed by a piece of the designer series paper.  I did trimmed it down to 11 inches by 11 inches.  I placed the flower stem directly onto the paper and added pop dots to the back of the flowers.  The long picture is also placed directly onto the paper, while the closer one is popped up.  For the title, I used the Big Shot and Naturally Serif alphabet.  I also used the Rose Red texture cardstock for the alphabet.

Supplies:

  • Playful Polka Dot Simply Scrappin kit (I used the Rose Red & Daffodil Delight cs)
  • Big Shot and Naturally Serif alphabet
  • Pop dots and Rose Red Stampin' Up! Marker

I'm in the process of creating a few more pages, using this kit.  I'll will share with you soon.  It takes me forever to create a page, I'm way too picky.  I end up changes things like 20 times before I glue them done.
