Halloween Treat Container

If you don't know, I just love Halloween!!  Here is a treat container that I made for my nephew.  It uses a crystal light container and a piece of Wicked Fun Speciality paper.  First take the paper and wrap it around the container to measure what you need.  Then cut the paper to the size of your container and adhere with sticky strip.  I used one long piece all the way down the side.  I stamped out a bunch of pumpkins, using the Got Treats stamp set.  I colored the pumpkins with SU markers, cut them out and then adhere them to the container with pop dots.  Finally I spritzed Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz over the entire container.  For the cover, I punched out a basic black scallop circle and then punched out a circle of the pumpkin, glued that to the top and your done!

Supplies:

  • Got Treats stamp set
  • Basic Black and Whisper White card stock
  • Wicked Fun Speciality Paper
  • SU Markers ~ Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi & Basic Black
  • Sticky tape & pop dots
  • Scallop Circle punch and 1 3/8" circle punch
  • Vanilla Smooch Spritz

Thank you for stopping by today!!  I loved having you stop by.

Sketch Frenzy Friday

Time for this week's sketch:

Another great sketch and here is mine:

I'm still loving this stamp set and the Nite Owl designer series paper!!!  The base of the card is Tangerine Tango followed by Basic Gray and then Basic Black, which has been embossed using the Big Shot and the Spider Web embossing folder.  Then I added three Basic Gray brads on the bottom.  I added the strips of Basic Gray, Tangerine Tango and Nite Owl designer series paper.  I stamped the little guy in Basic Black ink and then colored him in with SU Markers, added the layers and a few pop dots and it's done.

Supplies:

  • Fang-tastic Stamp set
  • Tangerine Tango, Basic Gray, Basic Black & Whisper White card stock
  • Basic Black ink pad
  • SU Markers
  • Nite Owl designer series paper
  • Big Shot & Spider Web embossing folder
  • Neutral Brads & Pop dots

Mr. Fang-tastic

When I saw this little guy in the catalog, I knew that I had to have him.  I love Halloween!!!!  This was a card that I made for a card swap.  For those of you who aren't sure what is a "swap"  A swap is where a bunch of different people make one card and then send it to one person and then they sort out all the cards and then we get back a whole bunch of different cards.

The base of the card is Basic Black followed by a layer of Tangerine Tango and a strip of Nite Owl designer series paper.  Mr. Fang-tastic is stamped in Basic Black and colored in with SU Markers.  Finally I stamped the saying in Basic Black ink.

Supplies:

  • Fang-tastic stamp set
  • Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, Basic Gray and Whisper White card stock
  • Nite Owl designer series paper
  • Basic Black ink pad
  • SU Markers

Thank you for visiting today, I hope that you liked my creation.  If you do, please leave me a comment, I would love to know what you think!
