Hello! It's been way too long since I have posted last! You can thank that to Instagram, I love it! I post stuff to that all the time, I know it's not a great excuse but that is where I have been. You can find me at memoriesbybrenda. Since the new catalog has came out, I have been playing around with a few new things and here is a card that I create, I am super excited about. I just love everything about it, I hope that its bringing my creativity back!!
This card is using the Big Shot, another one of favorite tools, it's a must have on my list! The base of the card is Daffodil Delight followed by Tempting Turquoise that was ran through the big shot using Large Polka Dot embossing folder. I used Perfect Pennants stamp set, Tempting Turquoise & Melon Mambo ink pads. I stamped the saying in each of the color and used the Banners framelits to cut one out in Tempting Turquoise ink on Whisper White card stock. Then I used 1/2" circle punch and punched out the "a" and attached it with pop dots. I then used the Sweet Taffy designer series paper and the Banners framelits to cut out the bigger banner. I used pop dots on the Whisper White card stock and wrapped a piece of Melon Mambo 1/4" cotton ribbon around. **This ribbon is a must have, it is the softest ribbon I have ever seen, it's heaven! For the little Melon Mambo banners, I punched them out using the banner punch and attached them to the the Sweet Taffy ds paper. Finally I added a rhinestone on each side. Finished card

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, have you made any cards yet? Here is one that I came with up, I'm very pleased with the way it came together.
The base of the card is Real Red card stock followed by a piece of Whisper White card stock. Each corner has been rounded using the 3/16" punch. The piece of of designer series paper comes from the stack of Fresh Prints in the new Occasion Mini catalog. I added a piece of Strawberry Slush 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Ribbon. Then using my fav, the Big Shot and the magnetic platform, I cut out the shape using the Deco Labels Collections. Stamped the saying in Real Red ink and added a few pop dots.
- Delightful Dozen stamp set
- Real Red & Whisper White card stock
- Fresh Prints designer series paper
- Real Red ink pad
- Big Shot, magnetic platform & deco labels collection
- Strawberry Slush 3/8" ruffle stretch ribbon
Thanks for stopping by! There will be a few changes coming to my blog in the near future. Please be on the look-out for them…..
Here is a rather card that looks much more stunning in person then on the computer. It just doesn't sparkle very well when photographed.
I made this for a custom order, the customer wanted a girly type birthday card and I think this fits the bill. I stamped the flower into Raspberry Ripple ink and colored the stem with Gumball Green and stamp it on the Whisper White card stock. Then I stamped the flower into Versamark and added Heat & Stick to it and then finally added Iridescent Ice to it and used the heat gun. It's makes anything very sparkly and shiny.
- Blooming with Kindness stamp set
- Raspberry Ripple, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock
- 2012-2014 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack
- Raspberry Ripple and Basic Black ink pad and Gumball Green marker
- Heat Gun~ Versamark, Heat & Stick Powder & Iridescent Ice
It's a simple looking card that makes a great first impression when it's taken out of the envelope.
One of my favorite accessories are on sale this month! Designer series paper!!!!! They can be used for cards, scrapbook pages, 3-d items, etc. I like them for when I decide on which one to use, that the matching colors are right on the back, no guessing, grab the colors that match and start creating!
